Giuseppe (Pino) Nobile is the Head of the Geo & Space Services Section at NATO Headquarters where he has been working for over 25 years. In this function, he is responsible for the provision of Geospatial and GEOINT services, in close cooperation with the Joint Intelligence and Security Division, at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. He is also member of the NATO Geospatial Board, the NATO HQ Space Task-Force, NATO BiSC Space Working Group and the NATO Data Exploitation & AI Working Group.
Within the Space Domain, Pino is the programme manager of the NATO Headquarters’ Strategic Space Situational Awareness System (3SAS) which is developed directly on NATO systems using existing GIS technologies.
Since 2012 he has created and introduced at NATO Headquarters, multiple strategic geospatial solutions that address the growing needs of analysts and leaders for a better and rapid understanding of the global security threats and the economic outlooks. Since 2022, he has been managing the implementation of innovative Geo-AI and GeoInt-AI solutions under the NATO 2030 Agenda for use by NATO Headquarters and NATO nations.
Pino holds a Bachelor of Science in “Information Systems Management” from University of Maryland (USA) and a Master in “
